Our Founding Vision

In 1982, a group of visionary Malayalee Pentecostal brothers in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex—Babu George, Babu K. Iype, Jose Prakash, Toms Koruthu, Abraham Thomas, and Abraham Mathew—established the Pentecostal Youth Conference of Dallas (PYCD). Their mission was clear: to unite and empower the youth through spiritual growth and community engagement. The inaugural conference brought together over 250 young people, setting the stage for a movement that would inspire generations.

1982

Inaugural Conference

The first PYCD conference was held, gathering over 250 young people for a day of worship and fellowship, featuring Dr. Ezhankulam Samkutty as the guest speaker.

1984

Collaboration with PCNAK

PYCD partnered with the second PCNAK conference, expanding its reach and connecting youth across North America.

1985

Formal Structure Established

PYCD adopted a formal structure with leadership roles, ensuring spiritual and administrative guidance for its growing community.

1990

Annual Conventions Begin

PYCD began hosting annual conventions, providing a platform for youth to engage in worship, learning, and leadership development.
